International Student Scholarship (SISS)
Application Criteria
This scholarship is open only to International students
enrolled full-time on SIT Diploma or Degree programmes.
Scholarship Conditions
· Applicants must achieve at least a B Grade
average for each paper/module they undertake for the
academic year in which they start the programme ie February
to November or July to June.
· Students who achieve a B Grade average as
defined above will receive a 20% scholarship credit towards
the following year's international tuition fee.
· The scholarship will be available only for the
year that follows the applicant's attainment of the B Grade
average and it cannot be carried over or refunded should the
student withdraw or defer from the programme of study.
· SIT reserves the right to make the final
decision on scholarship applications.
· The scholarship will be offered for 2006, 2007
and 2008 academic years.
Example of how it works.
Diploma Students
First year students will receive 20% scholarship credit
towards their SIT international tuition fee for the
following year of study - the second year of the diploma
only.
This presents successful students with a potential savings
of $2600 off the programme tuition in year 2.
Degree Students
First year students will receive 20% scholarship credit
towards 2nd year tuition fee only.
Second year students will receive 20% scholarship credit
towards their 3rd year of study only.
This presents successful students with a potential savings
of $2800 off the programme tuition in year 2 and year 3
respectively
